Abhijit Muthiyan has been designing and architecting healthcare technology products since 2008. He co-founded Patagonia Health, one of the widest deployed Electronic Health Records (EHR) in public health departments and behavioral health agencies. Abhijit then built a successful telehealth platform for Base Healthcare, an engaging platform to involve patients in their own care. He is a co-founder, CTO, of Varidx, building smart city technology platforms, with the goal of engaging citizens in their communities. Abhijit believes in a user-first approach of design, where the user is the primary stakeholder in building technologies.

Abhijit Muthiyan is an active mentor and investor in TiE Carolinas, where he started the Young Entrepreneurs program for high school students. He advises startups on technology, growth and investments.

Abhijit received his MBA from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and BS in Computer Science from College of Engineering, Pune.
